Milan Reed wins Avon Schools Championships

Many thanks to: the management and members of The Players for allowing us the courtesy of the course for this event and owner, Adrian Stiff, for his help in organising the event; Nick Perkins and his greenkeeping team for their hard work in preparing the course for us at this difficult time of year – they did a fantastic job, on the back of the dreadful weather we have had; John Jones and Richard and their bar and catering teams for excellent food and drink; Mark Brooks and his pro shop team, especially Josh and Lee, today, for looking after the players needs and supporting our ball prizes; referees – Bernie Clifton and Allan Slater for their expertise on the course; starters Gary Ward and Pete Langford; and ball spotter – Club Captain, Martin White.

We had 72 players from 26 schools and 20 clubs so thank you to all those schools and their staff, involved, for supporting this event.
