Considering the lack of familiarity the Gloucestershire players had to adapt quickly to challenging greens.
Gloucestershire took the morning Greensomes by a point but took Worcestershire all the way to the last match of the day before losing out.
Tim Rogers from Knowle and Ian Edlin from Cotswold Hills made their debuts and both were undefeated on the day.
