Dave Pelz Scoring Game Test

Dave Pelz has dedicated the past 35 years to studying the game, revealing better ways for golfers to practice and play, and coaching some of the best players in the world on their short game and putting. Ten of Pelz’s professional students, including current star-pupil Phil Mickelson, have won a total of 19 majors.

Back in 1999, 'Dave Pelz's Short Game Bible' was published in the UK - chapter 11 of that book is called 'Everyone Has a Short Game Handicap' - to establish that handicap Pelz recommends testing yourself in various ways within 100 yards of the pin.

Like all good tests, The Pelz Short Game Handicap (or Scoring Game Handicap as it is now called) allows you to easily establish the current posistion of your short game, and measure its improvement over time.
