Zach Johnson - Climb To The Summit

Zach Johnson has been one of the most consistent players in world golf over the last ten years, winning eleven titles on the PGA Tour, including The Masters in 2007.

In his Masters winning speech he said, "I just kept getting better every year."....so how does he do that ?

In this video Zach describes the importance of the team that he has around him, and also the process that he goes through with them each year to find a way to improve.

He talks about the importance of developing his game based on facts, and gives a great insight into a few drills that help him improve his wedge play and putting.

And in this video, he demonstrates a great way of developing your ability to play under pressure....playing worst-ball on your own for a few holes.

He also conveys how much he loves practicing, and the constant challenge of trying to improve your golf. "I'm looking forward to the work, I'm looking forward to see how good I can get".

Interestingly, a few of the Men's Squad players are currently working with Gordon Brand Jnr, the two-time Ryder Cup player and former Gloucestershire County player. Not unsurprisingly, Gordon often talks about the enjoyment that he gets from his practice.

Which do you enjoy the most, playing or practicing ? It seems that the very best players enjoy both as much as each other.
