Gloucestershire First Team WIN 13/2 against Somerset
With some players returning to the USA, and some playing National events, the team selection was more of a challenge for this match. However, the GGU has an immense depth of squad which showed by selecting two of our U18 juniors, Jaxson Perry and Ambrose Eaves, with Ambrose making his 1st team debut!
The morning foursomes was our best result for a very long time 4 - 1, especially as 4 out of the 5 pairings were new partnerships.
Only needing 4 points from the afternoon singles, it became apparent, very quickly, that the team were in good shape, with the minimum score of 4 points never in doubt!
The match then became, not how we would win, but by how many! The team produced an amazing afternoon results, winning the singles 9 - 1, taking the final score to 13 - 2
