Butler duo win County Adult Junior Greensomes

The County Adult Junior Greensomes Championship took place at The Kendleshire on a lovely, bright autumn day. Entries were far less than we would have liked but it seemed that many people had other arrangements for the day and we did have a clash with the Channel League Finals Day for an U18/U16 team, which was unfortunate, due to the busy calendars again this year. We would encourage as many people as possible to take part in this event, in future years, as it really is a lovely tournament with a great format.

There were some brilliant scores, with the champion pairing, Edward and Edison Butler, bringing home a brilliant gross 64 and second place Tom Workman and Josh Millington a gross 68. Robert and Zak Armstrong took the nett prize (65), closely followed by County Captain, Gary Ward and Elizabeth Robbins in 2nd place (66). Congratulations to all these pairings.

Even though numbers were small, this did not detract from the enjoyment of the day which was enjoyed by everyone.
