Josh Millington, The Players Club.

How did you get in to golf and how long have you been playing?

My Dad took me to the driving range when I was about 6 years old and have been playing ever since.

Describe your top three memorable moments playing in a Gloucestershire County Squad

Playing in the Midland Four counties at Drayton Park and having a great week with President Alan!

Winning my first county match.

Playing with some of the best amateurs in the country at different county away days.

What do you look forward to the most in a season?

The competition and getting into contention – that’s fun.

What are your golfing aspirations for the future?

To become pro eventually and play on either the PGA or European Tour.

What is your favourite course, and why?

Saunton Golf Club. The views are amazing the course is great and I always play decent there.

Who's the best player you've ever played with, and what was it about their game that impressed you the most?

It will have to be Jack Cope, his ball striking seriously impressed me and how easily he made scoring well.

What's the best shot you've ever seen in golf (either in person or on TV), and why?

My bro Ash’s hole in one at the 10th at The Players. He hit driver and holed it, I couldn’t believe it!

Do you support any professional sports teams and, if so, which ones?

I support Bristol City Football Club.

If there was one sporting event that you could attend, which one would it be and why?

The Ryder Cup for the atmosphere.
