The Gloucestershire Golf Union was originally founded in 1906 and exists to represent male golfers in the county and to promote the game of golf. The GGU is the effective link with the English Golf Union (EGU) which has many responsibilities, not least the development and application of the National Handicapping Scheme.
An Executive Committee runs the Unions affairs together with a full time salaried County Secretary.
You will shortly be able to download Entry Forms for 2012 events and see all the 2012 Fixtures.
You can also click on the links for complete lists of Past Presidents and Past Captains of the GGU and if you would like to know more about the Gloucestershire Golf Union (GGU) and what it does for you, click on History or Constitution. You can also read an on-line version of the 2011 Year Book.
If you want to contact the Secretary, please complete our on-line form.
