Another great win for Gloucestershire against a very strong Gwent side making this the third league win on the bounce. The Gloucestershire side contained 3 u16 juniors, 2 of which were late replacements the night before the match due to unforeseen circumstances. The morning foursomes were a close affair with the last 2 matches going to the 18th Green. Gloucestershire needing only 4 points in the afternoon single, were 6 up in the first 7 matches, but Gwent stepped up a gear making a fantastic come back taking the match down to the last game. Late stand in, Haider Hussain gained a fantastic ½ to win the match for Gloucestershire – Well done to Louis O’Regan (Capt) & Jack Bamford for taking max points and new comer Haider Hussain 1 ½ points
