The result was very big improvement on our previous matches. There were happy smiles all round except for Tommy Burns who was annoyed with himself for losing the last hole to concede a half.
The morning foursomes could have been tied but Kesley and Jamie lost the last hole to lose by 1 hole. After the foursomes in the morning they did well to pull the match back to a tie but it was so close to being a win. Jacob came back to half from being three down coming off the twelfth hole pulling back gain a half by winning the last hole. At the ninth we were up in six matches with only Curtis and Luis being down. Kesley maintained his cool unflustered approach to match play and held on to win a close game.
Congratulations to them all and our thanks to Richard Chatham and his team for getting course ready for play after the torrential rain during the night and for the hospitality given.
