A good morning, welcoming back Oscar Sharpe to county golf after 3 years and offering debuts to Lee Ayers, Jake Phillips and Matt Basey after good finishes at the recent County Jnr Champs.
The afternoon started with a close top game which Wiltshire came out on top then Sam Sullivan completed a fine win. Things then didn't look so good and we looked like we would lose the match but at the end two good fight backs by Lee Ayres and Jake Phillips enabled us to get a drawn result. Both three down with 5 to play. Lee won on the 18th and Jake halved with the whole match resting on his game! Good debuts.
