On a lovely June day Gloucestershire opened their 2011 Junior Channel League season with a good win over neighbours Wiltshire.

After winning the morning foursomes Gloucestershire started the afternoon well winning 4 of the first 5 games leaving a singe point needed from the last 5.  Louis O’Regan and Mike Downey lost, leaving the result looking very close until debutant Ryan Davies came in with a solid half, followed by an incredible comeback from Kenny Overthrow who was dormy 3 down to eventually win the last three holes to ensure Gloucestershire won.  Owen Smith then came in with another win.
