Once again the foursomes proved to be our downfall. Although Gloucestershire were up in 4 games and halved in another on the 11th tee it was a disappointing result and created too big a margin to give a spring board for the afternoon. All players found the back nine difficult and tight. The course was wet and as consequence played long. The most successful Gloucestershire player was Kesley March who recorded 1 and half points. The team was up against a strong team who made the best of the course to record a convincing win.
