A good result for Gloucestershire despite losing the foursomes in the morning they came back strongly in the afternoon winning the single matches well. Mitch Waite (Filton) played very well winning both his matches although he and Jon Thayer were the stronger players as a pair in the foursomes. Tommy Burns (Cleeve Cloud) and Dan Palomeque (Kendleshire) fought back from three down to record a solid win by winning the last five holes. However, in the singles either Tommy or Dan could not recapture their morning form and never got into a lead at anytime in their singles matches.
