This was a far better result than expected as we were short of half of our regular players.  The reserve players stood up well to the challenge and produced an unexpected result in the morning foursomes with Matthew Hind, playing his first ever game at this level, and Curtis Mills recording a fine win.   The afternoon singles produced a very tight match which went down to the last two games.    Both went to the 17^th hole whith neither one player nor the other ever having a significant lead.

In the afternoon Tommy Burns single putted several holes early in his game to get a good lead which he kept for the whole game.   Kieran Sutton and Jake Ashdown were the only Gloucestershire players to win both the morning and afternoon games.  It was an excellent performance by all players who gave a far stronger team a good match with a close result which could have gone either way.
