Match Review
Bitterly disappointing result at home to open our Wessex League campaign against a very young and equally talented Devon side. The match was always going to be tight after the morning foursomes and so it proved to be with the match hanging in the balance until the last putt, in the last match on the 18th green, both players made birdie fours but with Devon only needing a half point it was enough to clinch the match for Devon.
Both teams were full of praise for the hospitality from Bristol and Clifton Golf Club.
We know we can do better against Wiltshire in our next match.
