The game was played in glorious weather over a Bath golf course in lovely condition, although the greens were tricky to read. Gloucestershire got off to a fantastic start with a comprehensive 4-1 win in the foursomes, with some excellent play especially from the pairing of Alex Palomeque and Jamie Graham, who have now formed a formidable partnership.
The afternoon stared well with captain Tyler Hogarty chipping in to go 4 up after 9, then cruising to his win and able to watch his next two players setup the win that was sealed by Jack Mann, with the last four players then ensuring Gloucestershire go to the top of the league.  Jordan Williams obtained his first u18 points as did Reece Johnson.
It was great to see the players put the disappointment of the Midland 4 Counties behind them by playing as a team and completing such a comprehensive victory over their arch rivals, with every player contributing to the points.
