Gloucestershire 2nd team’s fine run of results came to an abrupt end against Dyfed at Ashburnham.
The match, played in glorious weather on a course in fantastic condition, was a one sided affair from the start with a strong Dyfed team taking a 4- 1 lead from the foursomes a lead they never looked like relinquishing.
Although there was a glimmer of a possible Gloucestershire fight back in the singles, Gloucestershire took 2.5 points from the first four matches however this just seemed to spur the Dyfed team on and they won the remaining six single matches to run out comfortable winners 11.5 – 3.5.
