Another disappointing day resulting from a bad result in the morning foursomes from which it was difficult to recover. Two of the matches were close and could have gone either way. Llanishen is a short course with many driveable par four holes with small greens which our team all found difficult to read. However, the afternoon produced a better result. Luke Gaskins was unlucky to lose having birdied the last hole only for his opponent to do the same. Brandon took his match to the last hole finishing with an excellent birdie. Sam played the captains’ role in the afternoon with a fine win.
We were well looked after on the day and although losing all seemed to enjoy their day.
