| The County Seniors Trials & Scratch Cup was played over the beautifully prepared Minchinhampton |
| (Avening) links with a strong breeze which made life a little difficult for the best of the counties |
| senior golfers. Only one managed to tame the course on the day, the larger than life stalwart |
| Bill Higgins of Minchinhampton with a fine score of 71. |

| John Povall ex Welsh International, also from Minchinhampton had an excellent score of 74. |
| The Cotswold Hills Octogenarian, Morris Little once again shot a gross score of many years less |
| than his age, what a credit he is to the sport! |
| Tony Gough, the County Snrs Captain was in attendance to view the elite senior golfers vying |
| for a place in the 2011 County Team. |
| A great day to start the Senior Golf Season. |
